STRAIGHT ANSWERS, IN WRITING
The ten questions buyers actually ask.
Answered the same way we answer them on a scoping call. Anything else, email us and we'll answer in writing.
THE MONEY
Why flat fees instead of hourly?
Hourly billing rewards slow work. A flat fee, quoted in writing before the build starts, means our incentive is to build it right and build it once. The price you're quoted is the price you pay.
What does the monthly retainer actually cover?
Mostly, it buys you someone to ask. Any question, any time, with no per-question bill — whether a tool a vendor is pitching you is worth the money, what's worth automating next, how to use AI in your own day-to-day. You also get a written SOP in plain English for every process we set up, kept current as the tools change. On top of that, your n8n and Vercel hosting is inside it, and we run and watch every workflow (failures page us, not you, fixed within one business day). It includes a monthly AI usage allowance — see how that works. What it does not include is building new workflows: those are quoted one at a time, separately. Full details on the pricing page.
Is the $1,250 audit fee really credited toward a build?
Yes, in full, toward the first workflow build we scope from the audit. If you decide not to build anything, you keep the written report — useful whoever you hire.
What happens if I cancel the retainer?
You cancel, and that's it. No exit fee, no notice-period games. Your data, contacts, CRM, and every SOP we wrote are already yours and stay put. Because the n8n and Vercel accounts sit with us, we export everything and hand it over within 14 days — workflows, configs, credentials, documentation. What switches off is the automations, the monitoring, and the monthly reporting. You're never stuck.
OWNERSHIP
Who owns what?
You own your data; we own the machine. Your contacts, CRM, records, business logins, and every SOP we wrote stay registered in your name — exportable any day, protected under a data-protection agreement. Talos holds the n8n and Vercel accounts and builds, owns, and operates the workflows themselves, so hosting them, watching them, and keeping them running is our job, not yours. If we ever stop working together, all of it is exported and handed over within 14 days.
Talos is one person. What if you're unavailable?
Your data and accounts are yours and exportable any day, so you're never trapped. Every workflow is fully documented, written so that any competent n8n builder could rebuild it cold if you ever needed to move on.
THE WORK
How long does the whole thing take?
The audit is two weeks, the findings call the week after, and most builds take two to three weeks from there — roughly six to seven weeks from kickoff to a live, documented system. The week-by-week version is on The Process.
What tools do you integrate with?
The ones you already use: Follow Up Boss, kvCORE and other CRMs, Gmail and Google Workspace, Google Calendar, DocuSign, Zillow and MLS feeds, Twilio for SMS, and most anything with an API. We automate around your stack; we don't make you switch.
THE FIT
What if the audit finds nothing worth automating?
Then the report says so, finding by finding. The audit's verdicts include "keep human" for a reason. The flat fee means we have no incentive to oversell a build.
Can I see results or talk to past clients?
We're a young firm, and we'd rather tell you that than fake a wall of logos. What we show instead is the work itself: a full sample audit report, the automations opened up, and every promise in writing before money moves.
The rest gets answered on a call.
Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. Bring the questions this page didn't cover, and we'll bring straight answers.
